Vegas and California

A couple weeks ago we went to San Diego for my sister-in-laws wedding. We decided to make it a family vacation and had a lot of fun. My grandparents have a condo in Vegas so we traveled to Vegas on Tuesday (March 1st) night. We car pooled with Eric's parents. When we came in at around 4:30am the kids were awake and loved the lights. All McKenna could talk about was the castle and how she wanted to go see it. So here she is with her castle.

On Wednesday we rested and had fun walking with the kids around Vegas. David was covering Gampy's eyes..he he.

David was not such a fan of the show at Treasure Island (neither was I...it has changed since I last saw it).

On Thursday we drove the rest of the way to San Diego and spent the day with Noelle. Then on Friday Eric and I took the kids to an Aquarium. Before we went to California we had been talking it up with McKenna telling her the things we would do and see and all by herself she came up with wanting to see jellyfish. So we had to take her to see jellyfish.

After the aquarium we went to a park right next to the beach and had lunch.

Eric and I are pretty sure that we have not seen McKenna happier than when she was at the beach. She LOVED it! Both of them just ran and splashed in the water.

They were a little timid at first.

Our wet rat. At least we had taken her jacket off so she would have something dry . We went back the next day but that time we took their swimming suits.
