A few pictures!!!

I looked out my window one day and saw the kids rolling around on the grass. Then I saw Bella. Sorry it’s not the greatest picture but I was trying to take it quickly before they stopped. I sure love them!

Here is a video of McKenna singing and dancing. She knows how to start this song over and over again. We probably listen to it 20 times a day or more.

Backpacking and Birthday Party

This last week was a busy one. I spent the first half of the week cleaning my house and getting ready for David’s birthday party. Then on Wednesday I find out that we are going backpacking on Thursday. Well…my plans got altered and I spent Thursday morning trying to get everything done that I was supposed to do Thursday and Friday. Some things were deemed not important and were eliminated completely but I was surprised at how much I could get done that morning while the kids were watching a movie. Here we are just starting out on our journey to Blue Lake.

David was our straggler. He had the shortest legs.

While eating dinner I thought it was cute that the girls all sat next to (pretty much on top of) each other and the boys sat together.

Sleeping arrangements. Eric has vowed to never again take out kids camping. I know that is probably not true because is was said after we had not gotten any sleep. David woke up and had a meltdown around 1am and then McKenna needed to go potty about half an hour later. She then would get hot then cold every hour or less the rest of the night. I didn’t sleep at all and Eric only got an hour or two.

The kids loved the snow.

Eric’s brother Scott bought a raft and we took everyone out to the island in the middle of the lake.

McKenna LOVED fishing with Gampy.

This little boy managed to find every mud puddle on the island/rock.

Poor William fell into the water with his clothes on before we had swim suits. He scraped his knee up on the rocks He was not such a happy camper.

I just think this little boy is the handsomest I’ve ever seen. LOVE HIM!

BEEP! BEEP! Wide Load! Eric had four sleeping bags, two pads and a tent. Plus a few other misc. things.

Yes that is a cooler that Josh is carrying. It was a lot heavier on the way in than the way out.

DAVID TURNED 3!
I can’t believe my little boy is three. He is such a character. He loves cars, trains and basically anything with a motor in it. He also loves super heroes and requested “Larry Boy” for his birthday cake.




Aunt Melanie made him a fabulous Larry Boy cape!


Grandpa made him an awesome train table!


David is such a sweet little boy and his smile can melt my heart in a matter of seconds. I am the luckiest mommy in the world!

Bubbles and Park

We have been playing with bubbles a lot lately so here are a couple pictures of McKenna. David was not cooperating. He would turn around and run every time he saw the camera pointed at him. Silly boy!

Mckenna's Birthday Party

I can not believe my little girl is 4 year old already! Here are a few pictures from her birthday.

On her birthday we had cupcakes and opened presents as a family.

On Saturday we had a party for her with all of our extended family that could make it. She had a blast and was very spoiled.

McKenna is a joy to have as part of our family. She is learning the alphabet and all the sounds that the letters make. She has learned how to ride her bike and spell her name. We love her very much!
