Alaskan Adventures

Hello from way up in the arctic cold. Where zero degrees is t-shirt weather and fifty below cancels church. We hope that everyone is doing well. Since it has been almost two months since we updated we thought we would let you all know how we are doing.

We just got through a three week cold spell. It was 30 to 40 below for the highs and down to 60 below for the lows. It really makes us appreciate when the weather gets above zero!!

Terrilynn has decided that Eric is a big kid. Toys, toys and more toys. Eric got us a new four wheeler and can't stop thinking or talking about what we are going to be able to do now that we have two. (I think he is still trying to convince me that it was a good idea). We went out for a ride this morning and had fun. We rode eight miles and Bella ran the whole way. She loves going out with the four wheelers. Here is a picture of us when we got back. That black thing that Terrilynn is holding is Bella. She doesn't show up very well in pictures. Other than my extremities getting really cold (fingers and toes) I also enjoyed this mornings ride. Now Eric is trying to convince me that it will be fun to go camping next weekend. I'm not so keen on the idea of spending a night in a tent at around zero degrees when I have a nice warm bed four miles away.

BABY UPDATE

As many of you know we are in the process of trying to adopt a nine month old girl. We will try to keep you posted but as of right now we don't have much news other than things are looking promising. We should hopefully have more info by the end of next week. (We hope!)
