Christmas and More

Unfortunately it has been a while since I have updated. We have been staying at my parents house while Eric builds a shop for my dad. It should be done this week. It has been nice to have a little more space than our apartment and a little more help with the kids. But it will be nice to get back to our house.

McKenna likes to take all the toys she wants to play with and pile them somewhere. In a tent, on the couch, on my lap. You'll notice that her "toys" include a wide variety of items. Chairs, pillows, blankets, and more.

For Christmas we headed over to Pocatello. We spent about 10 days there and here are a few pictures of our adventures.

On the Tuesday before Christmas we took the kids to see Santa. I have a beef with Santa's Helper in the Pocatello Mall. He was a jerk! You can even tell in the picture that he is scowling. I heard him tell the people in front of us to "Hurry up and take the picture!" And they were PAYING to have their picture with him. When it was our turn...McKenna was so excited to see Santa but got a little nervous when we got up there so I held on to her and gave David to him. Well, my normally happy David started crying (I'm sure he could sense Santa's grumpy mood). I then started to tell Eric that I would stay in the picture with the kids but I was interrupted by Santa saying yet again, "Hurry up and take the picture!" It was 10am and his day was just beginning. That kind of person has no right to be santa and ruin it for kids. Needless to say I was a little miffed after our Santa experience.

I have discovered a favorite chore for David. He loves to vacuum. I am going to have to take advantage of this!

Here is David on Christmas morning. He got a wooden train and played with it for quite a while.

McKenna had lots of fun opening presents and playing with all her toys.

Here she is in her new Christmas sweater with her Princess blanket and her Cinderella doll.

Here is David in his new Christmas sweater with his Little People bus.

The kids playing on Christmas day.

McKenna and Abbie got eisels from Gammy and Gampy.
Here is David in his new Christmas outfit. He is so easy to take pictures of!

McKenna looks sweet in her new dress! (even with her cheesy grin)

I tried to get a picture of both of them so I told Kenna to grab David's hand and he wanted nothing to do with it. Kinda funny!

Well, Eric and I are busy trying to get our house plans done so that we can hopefully start building this spring. YAY!!!!!
I hope you all had a great Christmas and New Years!
